New “In Pursuit of Wellness” series announced at Global Wellness Summit

The Global Wellness Institute is pleased to confirm a new series of “In Pursuit of Wellness”, which was announced by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions at the Global Wellness Summit in St Andrews earlier this month. Claire Small, Head of Creative, and Vlada Tusco, Global Head of Partnerships, took to the stage to talk about the phenomenal response to the In Pursuit of Wellness branded series, share storytelling insights and showed an exclusive trailer for a new season of the series, slated for launch in 2025.

BBC StoryWorks, the award-winning commercial content division of BBC Studios, first produced a branded series for the Global Wellness Institute more than two years ago, with a mission to bring impactful and inclusive narratives about wellness to a global audience. The result is, an immersive series of branded films, funded by content partners, exploring some of the universal principles for living well through stories filmed around the world. Those stories have been a huge hit with audiences: two seasons of In Pursuit of Wellness have recorded over 3 million page views on BBC.com, 20 million video views and 25 million engagements.

The 2025 campaign will place a renewed focus on personal experience – with every story representing an individual’s unique wellness experience – and invite audiences to explore new and universal facets of wellness. Challenging the perception that wellness is reserved for those who have the resources and time, or for certain demographics, age groups or ethnicities, stories will show how wellness can be personalized to be both accessible and achievable.

“Working with the BBC StoryWorks team has reaffirmed the transformative power of stories, helping shape a more authentic, inclusive, and science-driven approach to wellness that positively impacts people’s lives,” said Nancy Davis, GWI chief creative officer and executive director. “We’re excited about opportunities to continue to amplify important stories in our industry and to broaden our reach and community.”
