Dave, an advertising strategist, market research expert and brand storyteller with 40+ years of experience across the Asia Pacific, is based in Bangkok. Starting at McCann Sydney in 1986, he later led strategic, research and management roles for that company based in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. A prolific speaker and writer, he has presented at 700+ conferences and contributed to many publications. In 2015, he founded BIBLIOSEXUAL, a brand storytelling consultancy, and has been leveraging AI platforms for market research for a decade. His passion for the last four decades has been studying the ageing demographics of SAsia and helping brands rethink older populations and their health and wellness as a positive trend. He has been working on aging and wellness with clients like TATA, Unilever, Johnson&Johnson, Disney, American Airlines and many others. A recognized leader in the spa industry for three decades, she expanded her focus to showcasing innovation in aging well in 2020. Griffin is host of the Glowing Older podcast, interviewing more than 220 experts changing the narrative about aging. In April 2021, she launched the B2B online platform SeniorTrade, featuring the twice monthly SeniorTrade Brief distributed to 1,000 senior living and aging services professionals.

Dr. O’Brien leads Mather Institute’s applied research on wellness and engagement in older adults, expanding its impact through university partnerships. She evaluates internal initiatives, supports new programs like the Person-Centric Wellness Model, and oversees Community Initiatives, bringing creative arts and wellness programs to older adults virtually and in-person. She holds advanced degrees in anthropology and public health from UC San Diego, San Diego State, and the University of Illinois, Chicago.
