Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Having just finished reading the entire Build Well to Live Well: The Future research report, I feel compelled to say a few words about it. First, my congratulations and thanks to the entire Global Wellness Institute (GWI) research team and especially Ophelia Yeung and Katherine Johnston. They have spent the past 18 months putting together a report that is sure to be hailed globally as a tremendous contribution to wellness in general, and the wellness real estate sector in particular.
It isn’t just an update of the 150-page Build Well to Live Well: Wellness Lifestyle Real Estate and Communities report of 2018. It is a rethinking of the entire sector with a much more advanced way of putting forth the current reality and what the future is likely to hold. It’s also longer than the original – now at 157 pages. And thanks to our Art Director Amy Detrick and the design team, it is also a major improvement in terms of professionalism and visual presentation. When we release this new report on June 17, you can download the report here.
I am impressed with the organization of the report, the first ever compilation of wellness impact studies, and the comprehensiveness of the information in every chapter. I am also delighted to see the global nature of the report – while there may be more examples to point to from the US and the UK, it is absolutely a global report with information for all continents and countries and a historical look that encompasses contributions from around the world.
I can’t wait to interact with all of the in-person and virtual delegates on June 17 at our Wellness Real Estate & Communities Symposium in New York who will benefit from this work. I know there will be a flood of downloads thereafter and then years of tremendous impact because of its release.
Mark your calendars, because June 17 is not only the 4th annual Wellness Real Estate & Communities Symposium, it is a moment where we will usher in a new era in this industry we love with the release of this research report.
I encourage you to join us in person in New York City, and we have just a few in-person seats still available including a pre-event networking reception at BBC Studios.
Everyone in the business of wellness can benefit from understanding the future of wellness real estate, so we are offering a virtual registration including a livestream of the event hosted by Media & Trends Analyst Jane Kitchen including on-demand access of all keynotes after the event.
Register to attend in NYC or virtually here. Hope to see you in New York!
Warmly,
SUSIE ELLIS
