Wellness Real Estate & Communities Symposium
New York City | May 12, 2026 | Location TBD
Real estate has become one of the most powerful—and consequential—frontiers of the global wellness economy. As the $6.8 trillion wellness market continues its rapid expansion, wellness real estate has emerged as its fastest-growing sector, reshaping how we live, work, and age. Buildings are no longer neutral backdrops; they actively influence sleep, mental health, longevity, resilience, and disease prevention. This is why the sector demands its own dedicated forum—one that brings architects and designers into direct conversation with scientists and physicians, alongside developers, investors, and technologists.
On May 12 in New York City, the Global Wellness Summit will convene this cross-disciplinary community for a full-day symposium exploring the future of wellness real estate, alongside the Global Wellness Institute’s release of the second volume of Build Well to Live Well: Case Studies, focused on the GCC region. Drawing on fresh, on-the-ground research from GWI Fellows, the gathering will offer rare insight into how wellness is being built—at scale—into communities, cities, and investment strategies around the world.
