Cultural and global marketing leader, Silvia is a Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in creating and executing marketing, corporate reputation and company culture programs for FMCG companies and NGO organizations. Silvia has an established reputation at Former Global Director of the Happiness Institute of Coca-Cola where she helped gather and put to practice the science of positive emotions and how to measure them to help brands and companies connect in a more relevant way with the audience and stakeholders; create a growing mindset in teams and help companies perform to their best empowering teams to find higher meaning and satisfaction.


Gerard Bodeker, PhD

Chair, Global Initiative For Traditional Systems of Health, Oxford UK; & Green Templeton College, University of Oxford

Professor Gerry Bodeker, whose doctoral studies were at Harvard, researches and advises on integrative medicine and wellness. He has researched and taught in medical sciences at Oxford University for two decades, and is adjunct professor of epidemiology at Columbia University. Gerry Bodeker works with governments, private sector, UN organisations, including WHO, the World Bank, and the UN University, advising on culturally-themed health and wellness strategies (www.giftsofhealth.org).


Tomonori Maruyama

Tomonori Maruyama is dedicated to new business development and global research on issues such as spa and wellness markets, services, quality standards and regulations. As chief researcher for Mitsui Knowledge Industry, he and his team have undertaken government-commissioned studies of the spa and wellness industry. He is currently engaged in co-innovation projects with inter-business collaboration.


Alejandro Ortiz

Ambassador, Global Wellness Day, Mexico

Having studied Pre-med school, Massage Therapy, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation and Spa & Hospitality Management, Alejandro Ortiz traveled around the world working within the ultra-luxury hospitality having the opportunity to experience first-hand not just outstanding Spas and Wellness Centers but also collaborating with gurus and wellness expert practitioners from around the globe. This traveling experience gave him a huge dimension and perspective of the Spa cultures and ancient practices around the world to be applied to cutting edge Wellness Concepts and programs. As member of the Regional Wellness & Tourism Council’s Board he is responsible with other 5 members to develop the 2017 Wellness Program for San Miguel De Allende City, a UNESCO World Heritage site and 3rd place on Travel + Leisure’s 2016 “World’s Best Cities” List. As the Global Wellness Day Ambassador his mission is to spread the message of Wellness to everyone in his country and build the public and government awareness.
